Leo Club is a youth organization of Lions Club International. The word LEO
stands for Leadership, Experience and Opportunity. The Leo Club of ChettinadTech encourages youth to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. The Leos of ChettinadTech have been contributing to the society through their community service.

We Leo Club of Chettinad Tech, move ahead with the motive of serving the needy at all times. We prepare volunteers for facilitating activities like awareness programs and serve the local community. The staff also joins the students in their endeavour to create a world that is , ‘ a more sociable one’.

Corona Awareness Program
As per DOTE policies, Chettinad College of Engg. & Tech., Karur organized an Awareness Program on n-Corona Virus. Medical Team from Govt. Community Health Centre - PHC, Uppidamanagalam conveyed the precautionary activities to the students and staff members using audio-visuals in A-block Seminar Hall.37 Arts & Science Graduates took part in this programme. Medical team demonstrated the steps of washing hands to the students in the college campus. Students were guided to practice the safety measures and also informed to convey the importance of following these guidelines to their parents, friends and neighbours. The students attended the awareness program enthusiastically. Pamphlets were displayed on notice boards of all the departments.
